About Us

Web Office Systems Ltd was established in 2002 and has evolved carefully by building customer facing applications that solve the day to day challenges faced by businesses. We have always ensured that our team are passionate about customer service, the solutions we provide and the people we work in partnership with. Our team who are based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire have a broad range of commercial and development knowledge and experience. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and are ISO 9001 accredited.

Management Team:

                              Matthew Ballinger
                                Founder & CEO		 Founder of Web Office Systems Matthew  has vast experience in business process analysis, web application development and e-commerce.

Amongst his many projects he has developed e-commerce applications for a major UK investment bank, allowing them to sell their managed fund products online.

He acted as a programming consultant on a major Yahoo! Corporate Services portal deployment for a global pharmaceutical giant and also managed and implemented a major data migration project for one of the largest computer manufacturers in the world.

Over the past few years, Matthew has been the driving force behind our core product FuseMetrix using his knowledge of real life business situations to define the overall architecture. An architecture so flexible that it allows FuseMetrix to be moulded into almost any business situation.

Matthew originally specified and designed our  data center. To this day he still takes personal responsibility for overseeing our core infrastructure and its operation,
   

                                     Paul Smith
                                Managing Director		 Paul started his working life as an Accountant, starting in public practice before moving into industry working for companies such as hospitality giants Whitbread and IT Services Company Computacenter. During this time Paul gained considerable experience in business process design and became a skilled people manager. 

After a successful 12 year Finance career Paul moved into a sales role within the IT industry, becoming Sales & Marketing Director within a year.  Paul built a  track record growing a specialist software and service company before starting his own business consultancy practice in 2004 helping businesses grow through sales & marketing strategies supported by sound business process.

Paul joined a former client as their Sales & Marketing Director before joining Web Office Systems in a similar role in April 2010, becoming Managing Director in September of the same year.  Paul is passionate about integrated systems being used to manage and grow businesses, he always looks at what we do from an end users point of view having used Accounting and CRM applications since the mid 1980's.
 
   

                                    Dr. Richard Irwin
                                    Technical Director
 		 After completing his doctorate in physics at Exeter University in 1996, Richard went on to work as a freelance contractor. Richard ran his contracting company until joining forces with Matthew Ballinger in 2003 when he was invited to join Web Office Systems as Technical Director.

Richard has worked on many projects over the years for clients as diverse as Dolphin Telecom, Office of Fair Trading, ABN AMRO Bank, PowerChannel, Yahoo!, Reuters, MSD, NHS, Complete Group and T-Mobile.

Richard has gained a huge amount of experience in a wide variety of languages and platforms.

Richard, in his role as Technical Director oversees all of our development teams and is responsible for the software architecture of FuseMetrix and Response Mail.
