What is the difference between Customer / Company / Contact?

Customer and Company are the same thing, just named differently depending on the use.

For a B2B company using FuseMetrix, the Customer list would be mainly Companies, each containing a list of contacts.
For a B2C business, the Customer list would be mainly real people, with the same details across the Customer and Contact record.

The Customer/Company record holds the financial information - all orders, invoices, payments, debts, etc. This is the record the Account Number sits against, and that shows up against anything in the finance side of the system.

The Contact record is where communication preferences, memberships, waivers, and general correspondence is stored.
