Marketing Campaigns

What is a Marketing Campaign?

Campaigns are used to manage all Marketing for a particular event or product in one place, with an overview of the sales generated by all of the activities within the Campaign.

Creating a Campaign.

To set up a new Campaign, go to Marketing Hub, and click Create beneath Campaigns.
  • Name your campaign - eg. Christmas 2026
  • If required, add a description
  • Enter the dates your campaign will run
If you're trying to capture sales data for a specific group of people eg members or certain postcodes, you can select a contact filter. If selected, only purchases by customers in that filter will be counted in the campaign.

If the campaign is to sell certain products, you can select a product filter. If selected, only sales for products in that filter will be included in the campaign stats.

Campaigns can be used to sell products or to generate enquiries via Opportunities within the Sales Hub. Select the goal for your campaign, and a target if required.

You can also override the Attribution Window here. By default, this is 8 hours, but may be overridden already in your system within System Setup > Marketing > Marketing Setup. This determines the length of time between a customer clicking a link from the campaign and placing an order for it to be assumed to be a direct result of the campaign.

Click Save to start building your campaign. These details can be amended later if required.

Activities.

When viewing your campaign, you'll see an Activities section at the bottom of the page. This is where you can set the marketing material to generate sales. To add an activity, click 'Add activity' and select the type you'd like you add.

Activity types are: For an activity to be counted as part of a campaign, it must be added via the campaign directly. Once created elsewhere, it cannot be added to the campaign retrospectively.

Amending/Copying an existing Campaign.

To make changes to a campaign already created, click Edit in the top right corner and you'll be taken back to the initial setup page, where you can change the dates, targets, filters etc.

To create a new campaign based on an existing one, click the arrow next to Edit in the top right corner and choose 'Clone'. This will create a duplicate version of your campaign which can be edited as needed. All activities within the campaign are copied across, so bear in mind these may need updating.

Campaign Statistics.

The stats shown on the Campaign page are
  • Orders - total number of orders placed within the attribution window, and the total value of those orders.
  • Product Sales - total number of orders placed for qualifying products within the attribution window, and the total sales value of those products.
  • Sales vs Targets - if a sales target has been set, this graph will show the actual sales generated via the campaign compared to that target value.
